Renowned for their expertise in Eminent Domain, our client is engaged in all stages of litigation, from initial filings to trial and appeal.

Job Description

• Be a part of a dynamic Trial and Litigation Practice Group, specializing in eminent domain cases.
• Participate in all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, handling motion practice, conducting trials, and managing appeals.
• Serve as legal counsel for public and private clients in land acquisition for large-scale infrastructure projects such as transit systems and stadiums.
• Conduct thorough legal research, draft compelling motions, and develop effective trial strategies.
• Take part in depositions, interviews witnesses, and gather evidence.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of litigation experience (preferably in eminent domain or real estate/real property).
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated experience in law and motion practice, including handling dispositive motions.
• Ability to construct a strong case for trial, including managing discovery, conducting depositions, and interviewing witnesses.
• Active license to practice law in California.
