What they’re looking for:
•Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, with a preference for a Master's degree.
•Must be a Registered Nurse in the state of Washington.
•Ideal candidates should have at least three years of experience in Employee Health.
Hours and compensation potential:
•This is a full-time position, with day shift hours starting at 6am.
•The salary range is between $45.68 and $61.48 per hour, depending on experience.
•A comprehensive benefits package, including up to $5,000 in relocation assistance, is provided.
What you’ll be doing:
•Delivering comprehensive employee and occupational health services across all Healthcare locations. This includes ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal standards, implementing and administering employee safety and wellness programs, providing health education and guidance to employees, and establishing and maintaining relevant records and systems.
•Recording and maintaining all necessary health data on employees. Notifying employees when specific activities are required (such as fit testing, immunizations, titers, etc.). Ensuring these activities are completed in a timely manner and notifying department leaders of any overdue tasks.
•Administering immunizations to staff.
•Ordering and maintaining an adequate supply of all necessary items for the service.
•Providing information for the updating of health and safety procedures, policies, and orders as requested.
•Monitoring data to provide reports to state and federal agencies.
•Investigating incidents of employee injuries and exposures and making recommendations to prevent future occurrences. Follow-up on test reports from staff and provide counseling as necessary.
•Implementing strategies, under the direction of the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), to optimize employee productivity, health, and safety. This includes minimizing disability claims, on-the-job injury claims, and absenteeism. Collaborating with others to develop a return-to-work program for employee injuries.
•Supporting Human Resources in discussions related to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and providing recommendations.
•Being a resource on employee health and safety issues for management, staff, and providers.
•Ensuring personal safety and the safety of others by adhering to safe work practices and policies. This includes knowledge of security and safety measures, understanding MSDS, equipment operation, infection control procedures, fire safety, disaster response, safe lifting techniques, and proper body mechanics.
•Ensuring self-compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and labor agreements.
•Maintaining a courteous and efficient interface with team members and other support groups, in line with the organization's values.
•Conducting oneself professionally and maintaining a neat appearance that meets the organization's standards.
•Handling additional accountabilities, as requested by management, in a manner that aligns with organizational standards.
