A dynamic opportunity is available for a skilled and knowledgeable RN Leader with a minimum of 5 years of Endoscopy experience to join and contribute to our Endoscopy Department.

  • Directs and coordinates various activities within the Endoscopy Unit.
  • Devotes focus to Endoscopy in order to achieve Safety, Quality, and Financial objectives for the entire organization.
  • Provides support to the Operations of the Endoscopy Unit and collaborates with other departments as required.
  • Plans and facilitates the delivery of high-quality nursing care, adhering to the ANA Standards of Nursing Practice.
  • Exhibits leadership qualities by fostering cooperation among clinical personnel while upholding professional nursing standards.
  • Promotes the vision of shared governance and fulfills nursing obligations as a member, which dictate the practice of all nurses.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversees the day-to-day clinical workflow and staffing for the Endoscopy Unit.
  • Evaluates and manages workflow efficiency, making necessary adjustments to staffing, assignments, and personal schedules in order to ensure smooth and efficient workflow processes.
  • Manages the scheduling of RNs and support staff on a daily basis, ensuring adequate coverage for patient care.
  • Serves as the point of contact for coordinating patient care and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Collaborates with the Administrative Director of Patient Care Services to develop, implement, and assess Quality Improvement Projects in the Endoscopy Unit that align with organizational initiatives, such as Safety and High-Reliability Organization and Core Measures.
  • Participates in the selection and recruitment processes for clinical staff.
  • Actively engages in staff retention efforts, in coordination with the Administrative Director of Patient Care Services.
  • Conducts employee evaluations.
  • Provides supervisory feedback and correctional guidance to staff as needed.
  • Serves as a professional and clinical resource for nursing and support staff.
  • Exemplifies professional leadership behaviors, instilling a positive image of the departments and the organization.
  • Acts as the Director when delegated.
  • Performs Endoscopy RN duties as required.

Education:

  • Current Colorado RN License or ability to obtain one.
  • BSN required; Master’s Degree preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) are mandatory.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of RN Endoscopy experience required, with additional experience in advanced Endoscopy preferred.
  • Progressive leadership experience is desirable.

SALARY RANGE

  • $109,897.60-$134,846.40 per year
  • Starting salary will depend on experience, education, and skill set
  • Eligible for upfront bonus offer (requires a 2-year commitment)
  • Annual bonus determined by organizational and individual performance.
