Our client, a prestigious law firm ranked within the top 50 in the nation, is seeking a talented Real Estate Associate Attorney to join their highly regarded Energy & Infrastructure Practice in any of their offices located in California, Massachusetts, Illinois, New York, Oregon, Washington, Texas, Washington D.C., or West Virginia. This presents an exceptional opportunity to work on cutting-edge transactions in the fields of renewable energy, infrastructure, and project finance. Candidate Profile:

Must hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a top-tier law school and possess a strong academic record.

Must be an active member of the relevant bar association.

Should have 3-5 years of substantial experience in the real estate industry, preferably in the energy and infrastructure sector.

Must have a strong background in handling real estate matters related to project finance, with a specific focus on wind, solar, and battery storage projects.

Proficiency in reviewing and providing advice on title and survey issues is a requirement.

Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills are necessary.

Must have the ability to manage complex transactions within a fast-paced environment.

Strong client service skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team are essential.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide legal counsel to clients on real estate matters throughout the various stages of project development, including initial due diligence, financing, and M&A transactions.

Negotiate and structure real estate components of energy and infrastructure deals.

Conduct thorough reviews of titles and surveys, resolve land use and zoning issues, and coordinate with local counsel as necessary.

Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including finance, regulatory, and corporate attorneys, to support the execution of large-scale energy projects.

Stay well-informed on emerging trends within energy and infrastructure law and actively contribute to the firm’s thought leadership initiatives.

The firm offers competitive compensation, ranging from $260,000 to $390,000 per annum, depending on experience, skills, and location. Attorneys are also eligible for a discretionary performance-based bonus.
