Candidate Profile:

• Must hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a top-tier law school and possess a strong academic record.

• Must be an active member of the relevant bar association.

• Should have 3-5 years of substantial experience in the real estate industry, preferably in the energy and infrastructure sector.

• Must have a strong background in handling real estate matters related to project finance, with a specific focus on wind, solar, and battery storage projects.

• Proficiency in reviewing and providing advice on title and survey issues is a requirement.

• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills are necessary.

• Must have the ability to manage complex transactions within a fast-paced environment.

• Strong client service skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal counsel to clients on real estate matters throughout the various stages of project development, including initial due diligence, financing, and M&A transactions.

• Negotiate and structure real estate components of energy and infrastructure deals.

• Conduct thorough reviews of titles and surveys, resolve land use and zoning issues, and coordinate with local counsel as necessary.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including finance, regulatory, and corporate attorneys, to support the execution of large-scale energy projects.

• Stay well-informed on emerging trends within energy and infrastructure law and actively contribute to the firm’s thought leadership initiatives.

The firm offers competitive compensation, ranging from $260,000 to $390,000 per annum, depending on experience, skills, and location. Attorneys are also eligible for a discretionary performance-based bonus.
