As the Engineering Manager, you will report directly to the General Manager and play a crucial role in the planning and engineering functions of our 24/7 aerospace manufacturing facility. This position involves overseeing daily department activities, developing and reviewing manufacturing plans for various aerospace components and assemblies, and maintaining engineering documentation. You will also manage planning in the ERP system and ensure compliance with quality standards.


  • Collaborate with CNC programming and functional teams to create and approve manufacturing plans for parts and assemblies
  • Ensure proper configuration management throughout the product's lifecycle
  • Review and distribute customer engineering, quality requirements, and specifications
  • Maintain and interpret customer engineering datasets and oversee engineering changes
  • Provide technical support to production, program management, procurement, and quality departments
  • Implement continuous improvement plans for the engineering/planning department
  • Manage and develop a team of direct and indirect reports


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in planning and engineering for manufacturing operations
  • Supervisory experience is required
  • Experience in aerospace manufacturing is required


In addition to the required qualifications, we are looking for candidates with the following skills and abilities:

  • Thorough knowledge of AS9100, FAA standards, federal regulations, and industry manufacturing practices
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with ERP systems and engineering drafting/modeling software
