Engineering Office Director

Location: Kenosha, WI
We are seeking a highly experienced Engineering Professional with strong project management skills to lead our office located in Kenosha, WI. As the Director of Engineering Operations, your main responsibilities will include managing, mentoring, and fostering the growth of our engineering staff. Additionally, you will utilize your expertise in project and client management to serve our existing clients and attract new clients within the Kenosha market.

 Collaborate directly with the executive team to contribute to high-level corporate strategy and initiatives
 Lead, mentor, and cultivate a team of technical professionals
 Identify, develop, maintain, and oversee a diverse portfolio of clients
 Act as a technical resource for municipal projects, including staff training, QA/QC, and occasionally project management
 Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and subconsultants
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications, experience, and abilities:
 Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or a related field)
 Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Wisconsin (or equivalent registration)
 Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible experience working on various engineering projects, with at least 5 years in a project management and/or business development role
 Proficiency in various aspects of civil engineering, such as water distribution, sanitary sewage collection, water resources, transportation, land development, permitting, and construction
 Experience in client interaction, marketing, business development, proposal development, and contract negotiation
 Possess a collaborative mindset with strong communication and interpersonal skills, advanced problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to meeting deadlines while enjoying the process
