Engineering Office Director
Location: Kenosha, WI
We are currently looking for a highly experienced Engineering Professional with a background in project management to join our team as the Director of Engineering Administration in Kenosha, WI. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the engineering staff, as well as expanding our client base in the Kenosha market.
GOALS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with the company's executives to shape and execute high-level corporate strategies and initiatives
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technical professionals
Identify, cultivate, manage, and maintain a diverse client portfolio
Serve as a technical resource for municipal projects, including staff training, quality assurance and quality control, and occasionally project management
Act as the primary point of contact for clients and subconsultants

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications, experience, and abilities:
Hold a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a related field
Possess a Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Wisconsin or a similar certification
Have a minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible experience in various engineering projects, with at least 5 years in a project management and/or business development role
Exhibit expertise in various facets of civil engineering, such as water distribution, sanitary sewage collection, water resources, transportation, land development, permitting, and construction
Demonstrate proficiency in client interaction, marketing, business development, proposal development, and contract negotiation
Be a team-oriented individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, advanced problem-solving abilities, a strong sense of urgency, and a willingness to enjoy the journey
