ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY – ENVIRONMENT, ENERGY & RESOURCES

Location: Washington, DC

A prestigious AmLaw 50 international law firm is currently seeking a highly-qualified Junior to Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join their esteemed Environment, Energy, and Resources Practice Group based in the vibrant city of Washington, DC.

About You:

• You have obtained a prestigious JD from a top-tier law school, demonstrating a strong academic record.
• You are an active member of the DC Bar.
• You possess 2–4 years of valuable experience handling environmental regulations, with a particular emphasis on the Clean Air Act (CAA).
• You are equipped with exceptional legal writing, advocacy, and client service skills.
• Prior federal judicial clerkship experience is highly desirable, although not mandatory.

What You'll Do:

• Offer expert legal counsel on multifaceted environmental law matters, with a specific focus on Clean Air Act issues.
• Collaborate closely with a talented team of attorneys in providing guidance to clients concerning regulatory compliance, policy advancements, and legal disputes.
• Effectively represent clients in administrative proceedings and enforcement actions pertaining to environmental law.

Why Consider This Opportunity?
This position offers a highly competitive compensation package, with a salary range between $235,000 and $310,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. There is also the possibility of earning a discretionary performance-based bonus.
