Environment Health & Safety (EHS) Site Manager
Location: Brookfield, CT (On-site, Monday–Friday)

Are you a safety-focused professional with a passion for protecting people and the planet? We’re seeking an EHS Site Manager to lead environmental, health, and safety initiatives at a chemical manufacturing facility in Brookfield, CT. This is a full-time, on-site role where you'll drive compliance, risk reduction, and a proactive safety culture.

Must have: You must have at least 3+ years of EHS experience in a chemical manufacturing environment. Applicants without this background will not be considered.

What You’ll Do:

• Serve as the on-site EHS leader, providing both strategic direction and hands-on support

• Oversee and enhance all EHS programs, including compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations

• Lead risk assessments, hazard analyses, and emergency response planning

• Manage hazardous waste programs, chemical safety, and contractor safety protocols

• Conduct regulatory audits, lead incident investigations, and drive corrective action plans

• Deliver training programs to ensure employee understanding and engagement in safety practices

• Monitor and report on key safety metrics, EHS audits, and compliance documentation

• Maintain and update documentation including SWPPP, SPCC, and GPP plans

• Utilize EHS software platforms such as Cority for reporting and tracking

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field — or equivalent experience

• Minimum of 3+ years EHS experience in a chemical manufacturing environment

• Strong understanding of OSHA, EPA, and hazardous materials regulations

• Effective leadership, communication, and training skills

• Experience managing audits, incident investigations, and regulatory reporting

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS systems such as Cority
