Environmental Associate (Junior)
Location: North Jersey

Our client, a prestigious law firm ranked among the top AmLaw 100, is in search of a highly qualified and motivated Junior Associate to join their Environmental Practice Group at their North Jersey office.

Profile of the Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a JD from a top-tier law school with an exceptional academic track record.
• Includes Bar Admission in New Jersey as a requirement (or has the capacity to waive in). Preferably, admission in both NJ and NY.
• Possesses 2-4 years of substantial experience in environmental law.
• Exhibits outstanding writing and research skills, along with strong academic credentials.
• Demonstrates an entrepreneurial spirit, initiative, and the ability to work independently, inspiring confidence in others.
  
  

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide legal support encompassing various areas such as transactions, commercial matters, regulations, enforcement, and remediation.
• Negotiate, create, and execute agreements.
• Handle the negotiation and resolution of claims prior to litigation.
• Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys while maintaining autonomy in managing assignments.
