🚨 Must-Haves:

  • U.S. Citizen or current Green Card holder (Required)

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (Required)

  • 3+ years of engineering leadership experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Proven experience managing equipment installations, upgrades, or reliability projects

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (or similar CAD tools) and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Familiarity with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) principles

  • Ability to travel ~10%, with flexibility during project execution phases

What You’ll Do:

As an Equipment Mechanical Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in the design, implementation, and commissioning of capital projects at the Charleston, SC facility. You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on time, delivering real value to the business.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage project safety during design and construction phases

  • Oversee or support multiple projects from scope development to commissioning, sometimes across multiple sites

  • Collaborate with Operations and Maintenance to align project goals with business needs

  • Adhere to and help improve corporate engineering standards

  • Use engineering tools like FMEA, RIE, TPM, and FAT to support effective project execution

  • Assist in writing Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and Standard Work documentation

  • Help define and maintain critical spare parts for new equipment

  • Serve as an owner’s rep during startup and commissioning of capital projects

  • Prepare and present clear, accurate reports to internal stakeholders
