ERISA Legal Counsel Position

Our well-regarded client, one of the prominent firms in the legal industry, seeks a motivated and skilled Associate Attorney to join their established Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Group based in Philadelphia.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Completed JD from a prestigious law school with excellent academic achievements.
  • Pennsylvania Bar Admission is a must.
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience in ERISA, employee benefits, and executive compensation law.
  • Proficient in interpreting and applying ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, and other applicable employee benefits regulations.
  • Prior experience advising on executive compensation, qualified retirement plans, and health and welfare benefits.
  • Exceptional skills in drafting, research, and communication.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel regarding compliance with ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, and other employee benefits regulations to clients.
  • Draft and review various documents, including executive compensation agreements, retirement plans, and health and welfare benefits materials.
  • Offer strategic advice on employee benefits and compensation, including assessing regulatory compliance and managing potential risks.
  • Collaborate effectively with other practice groups to enhance client solutions.
  • Demonstrate efficient multi-tasking abilities while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
