Specializing in general contracting services, construction management, rough framing (wood and steel buildings), finish carpentry, and steel erection, they are a reputable name in the industry.

The ideal candidate should possess prior estimating experience in the construction sector, along with exceptional organizational and analytical skills, the ability to multitask effectively, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and skilled at building relationships with subcontractors. The primary objective is to ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of the Estimating Department.

Responsibilities: As an Estimator, you will assess bids, construction drawings, and specifications to identify labor, material, and time requirements. Furthermore, you will calculate the cost of each project component, taking a holistic approach and considering all factors contributing to the overall cost.

· Attend pre-bid meetings and visit proposed project sites to discuss work scope, conditions, specifications, addendums, bid documents, and on-site photos.

· Scrutinize and interpret specifications, construction drawings, addendums, and job details to eliminate uncertainties. Then, create takeoffs for estimating projects and gather bids from subcontractors/suppliers.

· Provide cost estimates and compute cost factors to create estimates utilized for management purposes like planning, organizing, and forecasting workloads within the company.

· Prepare and manage bids and estimates, along with submittals, contract documents, and presentation of project costs to the management team.

· Proficient in writing and processing change orders and cost-to-complete estimates for ongoing projects.


· A minimum of 5+ years of estimating experience.

· Proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpreting construction drawings.

· Strong understanding of construction practices and knowledge of codes and permitting requirements.

· Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
