Location: Richfield, OH


Our Executive Director will:
  • Be responsible for ensuring compliance with daily hospice and Medicare/Medicaid regulations, laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Hire and oversee a qualified team, taking full responsibility for daily agency operations.
  • Be readily available during business hours or via phone, even when off-site for agency-related matters and after hours.
  • Provide oversight to ensure the success of the hospice operations.
  • Offer support and guidance to the hospice team.
  • Conduct interviews and select potential employees.
  • Ensure hospice policies and procedures are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Effectively communicate with patients, patient family members, and physicians regarding patient care.
  • Monitor hospice census and staffing trends.
  • Maintain departmental budget and handle financial matters.
  • Implement policy, procedures, and quality improvement programs.

- Possess an active RN license in the state.
- Preferred Bachelor's or Master's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field.
- Have at least five years of leadership experience in a home health organization.
- Demonstrate strong financial acumen, including experience with profit and loss statements.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to motivate and lead a team towards achieving organizational goals.
- Possess knowledge of all state and federal regulations related to home health.
