Facility Integrity Engineer
Hybrid Remote - onsite 3 days per week

$90,000 – $130,000 + Bonus + Full Benefits
We are seeking a Facility Integrity Engineer to provide technical support and ensure the efficient operations of our company facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for responding to operational issues, troubleshooting recurring problems, and implementing solutions. You will also collaborate with stakeholders to identify and reduce leak risks, manage capital maintenance projects, and update procedures and engineering standards.
The Facility Integrity Engineer will be responsible for technical support of facility integrity and operations for all refined products and crude oil facilities. This role requires strong project management skills, as you will be leading teams of contractors and inspectors to execute projects within defined budgets.
Responsibilities
As a Facility Integrity Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing guidance, troubleshooting, and support for day-to-day operational issues and activities, such as equipment malfunctions, overpressure incidents, and product releases.
- Managing expense initiatives related to facility maintenance, including hydrotests, facility inspections, and vibration studies.
- Leading capital maintenance projects by scoping, securing funding, and executing projects within pipeline facilities.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or closely related field. Preferred: Job-related experience.
Work Experience
- Experience and training related to:
- Transmission/gathering pipeline operations
- Gas measurement and regulation activities
- Processing and/or storage operations
- Company/governmental operating and safety procedures
- Pipeline stress/strain analyses
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of pipelines or hydrocarbon processing and related facilities design, construction, operation, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of material failure and structural analysis, industry standards, and governmental regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret governmental regulations, blueprints, contracts, manuals, and other relevant reports and correspondence.
- Ability to analyze and resolve engineering design and calculation issues.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments with competing deadlines and recommend and implement new initiatives.
- Ability to apply math, algebraic formulas, and statistical methods.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Project, Access, and Word.
Travel
- Ability to travel to other locations (estimated 25% travel).
Driving
- May be assigned a company vehicle requiring the applicable driver's license based on assigned tasks.
