Factory Automation Robotic Welding Technical Sales Engineer

• Candidates must possess a two-year engineering degree in a related field and have at least three years of experience in sales application engineering.
• Applicants should also have a minimum of one year of experience in industrial robotic automation, robotic welding, electric motor and servo operation, and PLC programming.
• The salary for this position is up to $125,000 per year.
• Only candidates who are United States citizens or Green Card holders will be considered.
• This is an onsite position; remote work is not available.
• The successful candidate will be a full-time, permanent, W-2 employee.

We are currently seeking a full-time Factory Automation Robotic Welding Sales Applications Engineer for a reputable custom industrial automation certified systems integration company in Pewaukee, WI. As a sales applications engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of custom projects that incorporate advanced technology and require creative problem-solving. Engineers in this role will have the chance to see their unique projects come to life on the shop floor.

This position offers advancement opportunities within the company, including the potential for a management role. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties and responsibilities, including:

• Developing innovative solutions to customer needs
• Collaborating with customers and engineers to design and implement industrial automation systems
• Creating detailed engineering drawings
• Leading design reviews for engineering projects
• Obtaining pricing and delivery information from vendors
• Determining pricing and creating competitive sales proposals
• Occasional domestic and international travel to customer sites may be required

To be considered for this position, candidates must have the following qualifications:

• A relevant two-year engineering degree
• At least three years of experience in sales application engineering
• Experience in industrial robotic automation for at least one year
• Knowledge of robotic welding techniques for at least one year
• Ability to work with electric motors and servos
• Familiarity with PLC programming
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
• A strong work history and excellent work ethic
• US citizenship or valid Green Card
• Residing within a 45-minute commute of Pewaukee, WI
