This position offers potential advancement towards an engineering or service role, based on the employee's interests. The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Developing Fanuc robot programs from scratch
- Designing robot functionalities and capabilities from scratch, with a focus on machine tool load and unload tasks
- Resolving technical issues and providing comprehensive solutions
- Serving as a technical expert within the field
- Investigating and resolving HMI and PLC issues as required
- Domestic travel requirement between 70% and 90%
The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:
- Minimum of five years of experience in programming Fanuc robots from scratch
- Minimum of five years of technical support experience with Fanuc robots
- Ability to investigate and resolve HMI and PLC issues as needed
- Capable of working independently on smaller projects
- Strong teamwork skills for larger projects
- Ability to travel within the United States between 70% and 90%
- Valid driver's license
- A consistent work history
- Must be a United States citizen or possess a green card
- Reside within a 45-minute commute
