The RFID Consumables and Field Operations Manager role entails overseeing the procurement of RFID consumables (such as tickets, badges, wristbands, etc.) for client events and managing the smooth execution of client events and operations. This role requires a combination of client management, project coordination, and technical expertise.
- RFID Consumables Management:
- Coordinate and manage the procurement of RFID consumables for client events.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams comprising customers and partners.
- Liaise closely with clients and manufacturers to ensure that artwork, digital proofs, samples, etc., meet specifications.
- Prepare pricing estimates and quotes for client orders.
- Establish manufacturing production schedules in collaboration with the Operations Team and clients.
- Provide support and training on products and services.
- Develop and streamline processes for maximum efficiency.
- Field Operations Management:
- Effectively implement solutions (hardware and software) at customer locations across the US in collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and equipment requirements for installations and on-site deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customers and partners.
- Create a technology deployment matrix and plan resources accordingly.
- Offer support and training on products and services.
- Develop and optimize processes for maximum efficiency, whether on-site or remotely.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Extensive background in client management and customer service.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple ongoing projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including identification, resolution, and customer communications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Smartsheet, and Google Apps.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, for extended periods (approximately 2 months of travel per year).
- Experience or background in sports/ticket sales is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud suite of products is a plus.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3 years of experience leading projects (system implementations and business analysis) throughout all project life cycle phases.
- Experience in a customer-facing role and working with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and management skills.
- Ability to provide coaching and mentorship to others.
- Proficiency in using MS Office, MS Project, Visio, or equivalent tools.
