Field Service Advisor – Electro-Mechanical Technical Support

This position does not require any travel. The responsibilities of the successful candidate include:
- Conducting meetings and maintaining communication with various vendors and customers through both verbal and written means
- Being responsive to incoming phone calls and inquiries
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance
- Supporting and coordinating project workflow management
- Collaborating with customers, as well as the parts and service department, to effectively resolve issues and concerns
- Generating work orders and invoices accurately and efficiently
- Managing billing and invoicing processes for customers
- Assisting service managers as required and providing support in their duties
- Participating in service scheduling, if necessary, to ensure efficient operations
- Handling Return Merchandise Authorizations professionally and promptly
- Assisting in scheduling training sessions for service employees when needed
- Providing training to others as necessary
The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of technical support or field service experience involving hydraulics, drives, PLCs, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in complex customer support roles
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Consistent and reliable work history with relevant experience and achievements
- Must be a US citizen or possess a Green Card for employment eligibility
- Reside within a 45-minute commute to Brown Deer, WI
