Field Service Coordinator

Field Service Coordinator (Construction / General Contractor)
Location: Omaha, Nebraska
Salary: $50,000–$55,000 + Bonus

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Field Service Coordinator to join our team in Omaha. In this role, you will play an essential part in supporting the Field Service Team by managing day-to-day operations, assisting with small job estimates, following up on quotes and orders, coordinating scheduling, and managing short-term projects to successful completion. You will work closely with the Service Business Specialist and Field Service Manager to drive both current and future service growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the service business across the Americas by responding to customer requests and inquiries.

  • Provide pricing, availability, and technical documentation to customers via phone and email.

  • Create and follow up on quotes, collaborating with outside sales teams and Market Development Managers to secure business.

  • Process purchase orders, job sheets, and customer invoices efficiently.

  • Coordinate logistics and scheduling between Field Service Technicians, customers, and subcontractors.

  • Manage details and records of pending, active, and completed service projects and sales orders.

  • Maintain and update customer records accurately in the Navpoint system.

  • Develop a basic understanding of company products and their applications.

  • Make outbound calls and send follow-up emails for lead qualification, prospecting, and customer development activities.

  • Travel is rare but may occasionally be required for trade shows or customer site visits.

  • After completing initial training, this position offers a hybrid work schedule (up to 2 days remote per week).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience in construction, general contracting, plumbing, electrical, or HVAC industries strongly preferred.

  • Prior experience with estimating, bidding, or field service operations is a plus.

  • Strong typing skills (minimum 50 words per minute with 90%+ accuracy).

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience working with discounts, proportions, and currency conversions.

  • Excellent communication, customer service, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and problem-solve effectively in a dynamic environment.

  • Experience coordinating field technician deployment is highly desired.
