Field Service Engineer (medical lab analyzers) - Atlanta

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to maintain and repair medical laboratory equipment for a leading manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Priority will be given to candidates with current or recent experience in Field Service within the Medical Device industry. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the Atlanta, GA area.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting.

No Relocation: Applicants should reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the greater Atlanta, GA area.

Qualifications:

• A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related discipline is required.
• Strong experience in electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Ability to travel overnight.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Field Service Engineer.
• Experience in servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation is a plus.
• This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of the instrumentation.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Collaborate with the Field Support Group to resolve problems.
• Manage the inventory of tools and trunk stock (parts) in the company vehicle.
• Provide basic on-site training on the operation of company instrumentation.
