Field Service Engineer - Medical Lab Analyzer
Location: Greater Des Moines, IA area (Must reside within a reasonable commute)

Join a leading manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers as a Field Service Engineer, where you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of advanced laboratory instrumentation—including hematology, chemistry, coagulation, and robotic systems.

This role is ideal for professionals with strong electronic and electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills and current or recent field service experience—preferably in the medical device industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, preventive maintenance, and repair of medical lab instrumentation in clinical environments

• Deliver excellent on-site customer service and training on instrument operation

• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships

• Coordinate issue resolution in collaboration with the Field Support Group

• Maintain accurate records and manage car inventory (tools, parts, etc.)

Qualifications:

• Certificate or AAS degree in electronics or related discipline

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a field service engineer

• Strong background in electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting

• Experience with medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation is a plus

• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19

• Overnight travel required

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary: $65,000 – $80,000 (commensurate with experience)

• Additional $4,000 – $8,000+ annually in overtime and performance bonus
