FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER (Iowa)

Seeking a talented Field Operations Engineer based in Iowa
. The ideal candidate will have experience in Medical Device industry and will be responsible for servicing medical laboratory equipment such as hematology, chemistry, and coagulation analyzers. The role involves troubleshooting electronics and electro-mechanical issues and servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the Des Moines, IA and Sioux City, IA areas.

. Candidates should reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the Des Moines, IA or Sioux City, IA areas.
Qualifications:
- A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related discipline is required.
- Experience with electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting is essential.
- Frequent overnight travel will be necessary.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a field service engineer is required.
- Experience in servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation is a plus.
- Candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and perform preventive maintenance on the instrumentation.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Collaborate with the Field Support Group to resolve problems.
- Maintain inventory of tools, trunk stock, and other required items in company vehicle.
- Provide on-site training on the operation of company instrumentation.
