As an On-Site Technician in Los Angeles, your primary role will be to provide field service by conducting preventive maintenance, installations, calibrations, and training for various product lines within the Western Region. It is preferable that you are based in Los Angeles, CA. The salary range for this position is $32.00 - $36.50 per hour, which will be determined based on your technical skills and experience in the field of analytical instrumentation. The company also offers bonus opportunities in addition to full benefits, a monthly car allowance/mileage, profit sharing bonuses, and a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of instruments at customer sites within your assigned region.
• Managing inventory, planning trips, and handling administrative tasks related to service functions.

In order to be an ideal candidate for this role, you should possess the following:

• At least 2 years of experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex analytical instruments.
• The ability to work independently and demonstrate a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Proficiency in working with electronic schematics, test equipment, and repair tools.
• An associate's degree in engineering or chemistry is required.
• Flexibility for frequent overnight travel, which may account for up to 75% of your time.
• A valid driver's license and passport.
