FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER (Louisiana)

Repair medical laboratory equipment (hematology, chemistry, coagulation, etc.) for a leading manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Prior experience in the Medical Device industry is preferred. The role involves servicing automated robotic lab instruments in the wider Shreveport, Louisiana region.
Applicants must have a background in electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting.

Louisana
region.
Requirements:
- A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related field is mandatory.
- Strong experience in electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
- Traveling overnight will be necessary.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a field service engineer.
- Experience in servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instruments would be advantageous.
- All candidates for this position must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the installation, servicing, and preventative maintenance of the instruments.
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Collaborating with the Field Support Group to resolve issues.
- Maintaining inventory in the company vehicle, such as tools, spare parts, etc.
- Providing on-site training on the operation of company instruments.
