Our team is seeking a Field Technician to join us in Madison, WI. As a valuable member of our Central Region service team, your role will involve providing on-site service such as preventive maintenance, calibration, installation, and training for all our product lines. Primarily, you will be covering the states of WI, MN, IA, and IL. You will report directly to the Central Region Service Manager based in the Chicago area. While the ideal location is Madison, WI, we are open to considering other major cities within the territory as well.

For this position, the base salary range is $29.90-$33.80 per hour, commensurate with your technical and service experience in the analytical instrumentation field. Additionally, we offer full benefits and make a profit-sharing contribution to your 401k retirement savings. In celebration of each five-year anniversary, we provide a $10,000 anniversary bonus, along with other bonus opportunities.

Responsibilities of this role encompass:

• Conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of instruments at customer sites in the assigned region.
• Overseeing inventory management, trip planning, and carrying out administrative tasks related to service functions.

We are looking for an ideal candidate who possesses:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex analytical instruments.
• The ability to work independently with a strong commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Proficiency in working with electronic schematics, test equipment, and repair tools.
• An Associate's degree in engineering or chemistry (required).
• A valid driver's license and passport.
