At our company, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Engineer to join our team. As a valuable member of our Central Region service team, you will be responsible for providing on-site service, which includes installation, calibration, preventive maintenance, and training for all product lines. This role primarily covers the states of WI, MN, IA, and IL. Reporting to the Central Region Service Manager located in the Chicago area, your presence in or near Madison, WI is preferred, although other major cities within the territory may also be considered.

We offer a competitive base salary range of $29.90-$33.80 per hour for this position, which will depend on your technical and service experience within the analytical instrumentation field. Additionally, our client provides comprehensive benefits, including a profit-sharing contribution to your 401k retirement savings. As a token of appreciation for your long-term commitment, they also offer a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years, along with other potential bonus opportunities.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of instruments at customer sites within your assigned region.
• Effectively managing inventory, trip planning, and handling various administrative tasks related to service functions.

We are looking for an ideal candidate who possesses:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex analytical instruments.
• An ability to work independently and demonstrate a strong commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Familiarity with electronic schematics, test equipment, and repair tools.
• An Associate's degree in engineering or chemistry (required).
• A valid driver's license and passport.
