FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER (Mississippi)

Repair medical laboratory equipment (hematology, chemistry, coagulation, etc) for a manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Previous or recent experience in Field Service within the Medical Device industry is preferred. The role involves servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the larger Jackson, Mississippi region.
Candidates should possess a strong background in electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
**** Relocation not provided. Candidates should reside within a reasonable commute of the greater Jackson, Mississippi area.

Qualifications:
- A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related discipline is required.
- Strong experience in electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
- Availability for overnight travel.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a field service engineer.
- Experience in servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation is advantageous.
- Vaccination against COVID-19 is a requirement for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance on the instrumentation.
- Establish and maintain good customer relations.
- Coordinate problem resolution within the Field Support Group.
- Maintain inventory in company vehicle, such as tools, trunk stock (parts), etc.
- Provide basic on-site training on the operation of company instrumentation.
Benefits:
- Base salary ranging from 65K to 80K, depending on experience (overtime and performance bonus may add an additional 4K to 8K annually, potentially more).
