We are seeking a Field Engineer to join our team and provide on-site service, including maintenance, calibration, and installation. This position will cover the Kansas City, MO area, with occasional travel to St. Louis. The ideal candidate should be located within one hour of a major airport. The salary range for this position is $30.00 - $33.80 per hour, depending on technical and service experience within the analytical instrumentation field. In addition, there are bonus opportunities available. Our company offers a monthly car allowance and mileage, full family benefits, profit sharing bonuses, and a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of instruments at customer sites in the assigned region.
• Managing inventory, planning trips, and handling administrative tasks related to service functions.

Skills and qualifications we are looking for:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex analytical instruments.
• Ability to work independently and a strong commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Proficiency in reading electronic schematics, operating test equipment, and using repair tools.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering is preferred.
• Availability for frequent overnight travel (up to 75%).
• Valid driver's license and passport are required.
