Finance Associate Attorney – Corporate Trust, Agency, and Asset Servicing

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina

Our client, a prestigious Law firm Listed in AMERICAN LAW TOP 50 with a highly respected finance practice, is in search of a skilled Junior Associate Attorney to join their team focused on Corporate Trust, Agency, and Asset Servicing. This position is based in their Charlotte office. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on intricate finance transactions with a collaborative and dynamic team.

Profile of the Ideal Candidate:

  • JD degree from a reputable law school with an impressive academic background.
  • Active bar admission.
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in transactional and/or workout matters such as securitization (various asset classes), corporate finance, collateralized loan obligations, and/or structured finance will be highly advantageous.
  • Prior experience representing corporate trustees, servicers, and/or agents will be favorable.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and a proven ability to proficiently handle complex transactions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice on sophisticated finance transactions such as securitization, loan and bond financing, CLOs, and structured finance matters.
  • Represent clients throughout all stages of transactional matters, including drafting and negotiating agreements and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advise corporate trustees, agents, and servicers.
  • Manage workout and restructuring transactions to address issues related to financial instruments and agreements.
  • Cultivate strong client relationships through effective communication and strategic guidance.
