Corporate Debt Financial Associate Counsel

Job Location: Atlanta, GA

Our esteemed client, a leading international firm in complex corporate finance matters, is in search of a highly qualified Corporate Debt Financial Associate Counsel to join their team in Atlanta.

Profile of Ideal Candidate:

• Must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) from a reputable law school with a strong academic background.
• Active membership in the Georgia bar is required.
• Substantive experience of 1-2 years in handling secured transactions on behalf of both borrowers and lenders.
• Interest or solid understanding of syndicated and acquisition financing transactions.
• Proven experience in closing transactions and drafting financing documents.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong ability to build relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle sophisticated corporate debt transactions, such as secured lending and acquisition finance, on behalf of clients.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in reviewing and preparing complex financial documents and agreements.
• Provide guidance to borrowers and lenders throughout all stages of transaction structuring and closing.
• Contribute to prestigious finance projects involving national and international clients, ensuring compliance and optimizing transaction terms.
• Develop client relationships and support business development initiatives within the finance practice of the firm.
