What You’ll Be Doing

As Financial Reporting Manager, you’ll lead the preparation of external financial statements, drive technical accounting research, and support reporting across a rapidly evolving organization. This is a high-visibility role reporting directly to senior finance leadership, with exposure to executive stakeholders, auditors, and strategic partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

  • Lead technical accounting research and draft technical memos for complex transactions (e.g., revenue recognition, lease accounting, acquisitions)

  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal control standards

  • Support internal and external audits, including communication with auditors and preparation of audit documentation

  • Assist with the integration of acquired entities and ongoing consolidation activities

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Legal, Tax, and Operations on reporting and transaction-related matters

  • Support future IPO readiness, including S-1 preparation and SEC reporting )

  • Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives to streamline reporting and enhance accuracy

 

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves:

  • CPA license

  • 4–8 years of experience, ideally a strong Senior or new Manager from a Big 4 firm or a mix of Big 4 + corporate accounting

  • Hands-on experience with technical accounting research and memo writing

  • Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements

  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience working in a public company environment

  • Exposure to acquisition accounting and consolidations

  • Background in a private equity-backed organization

  • Familiarity with IPO readiness or SEC reporting
