Our esteemed client, a prestigious national law firm ranked in the top AmLaw 100, is currently seeking a driven and highly-qualified Associate Attorney specializing in Financial Legal Counsel to join their thriving team in Kansas City. About You:

• You possess a Juris Doctor degree from a leading law school with a stellar academic record.
• Active admission to the Missouri State Bar.
• You have accumulated at least 3 years of significant experience in litigation, specializing in areas such as commercial real estate, distressed loans, debt and security instruments, or creditor and lender liability.
• Expertise in legal writing, including proficient drafting of legal documents like briefs, complaints, pretrial motions, memoranda, and discovery requests.
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills, with a preference for candidates possessing prior experience in law firm or judicial clerkship.

What You'll Do:

• Advise and represent clients in complex litigation matters related to financial services, primarily focusing on disputes pertaining to commercial real estate and loans.
• Prepare top-notch legal documents, which includes drafting motions, briefs, and a wide array of discovery materials.
• Collaborate effectively with a team of established attorneys in order to develop cogent case strategies and achieve successful outcomes for high-stakes litigation.
• Engage directly with clients, offering guidance and bespoke solutions in a fast-paced work environment.
