Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 100 national law firm, seeks a highly qualified and driven Associate to join their Financial Services Litigation Practice Group. This opportunity is available in all firm locations, with a preference for candidates based in Kansas City, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, or New York.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Must possess a JD degree from a top-tier law school and have an impressive academic record.
  • Should be admitted to the Bar in Kansas, California, Pennsylvania, or New York, depending on the location.
  • Must have over 3 years of diverse litigation experience, preferably in areas such as commercial real estate, distressed loans, debt and security instruments, or creditor and lender liability.
  • Should have experience conducting and defending depositions, as well as proven courtroom experience.
  • Strong problem-solving, writing, and communication skills, gained through solid law firm or clerking experience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Handle litigation cases concerning financial services, specifically commercial real estate and distressed loans.
  • Conduct and defend depositions, and represent clients in court.
  • Collaborate with a talented practice group and interact directly with clients.

Compensation:
The salary for this position ranges from $230,000 to $390,000, depending on experience. Performance-based discretionary bonuses may also be available.
