Job Title: Fire Alarm Technician
Location: Westerville, OH
We are in search of a highly skilled individual to join our team as a Fire Alarm Technician. As a Fire Alarm Technician, your main responsibilities will include the inspection, installation, maintenance, and repair of alarm systems in various settings.
Duties:
- Inspecting, installing, and configuring alarm systems based on specifications and blueprints
- Conducting detailed inspections to identify and address any malfunctions in the system
- Performing regular maintenance tasks to ensure optimal efficiency of alarm systems
- Carrying out diagnostic tests to verify the proper functioning of alarm systems
- Providing comprehensive training to customers on the effective operation of their alarm systems
Experience:
- Must possess a valid Fire Alarm License
- Demonstrated proficiency in fire alarm inspection and installation
- Familiarity with operating low voltage equipment
- Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs
- Expertise in fire alarm systems and their components
- Ability to interpret and work with blueprints accurately
- Sound knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Prior experience in construction inspection is a plus
- Previous work experience as a service technician is advantageous
