Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform testing, inspections, programming, and installations of low voltage fire alarm systems
  • Obtain and maintain all necessary local licenses (CSA Card is a requirement)
  • Conduct on-site emergency troubleshooting, programming, and repairs of fire alarm systems
  • Identify and address code and non-conformance issues at customer sites
  • Collaborate with our team and electrical installers to install and commission new fire alarm systems
  • Work in a safe manner, following proper PPE and safety protocols
  • Travel to job sites within Colorado and Wyoming as needed
  • Be available for off-hours, shift, and weekend work as required
  • Perform work in challenging positions such as climbing ladders and operating high lift equipment
  • Read and understand construction blueprints, diagrams, and specifications for installation purposes


  • Willingness to become a member of the IBEW Local Union 68
  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience
  • NICET Level II certification in Fire Alarm Systems
  • Hold or ability to obtain a valid Denver Fire Alarm Systems Installer license (CSA Card)
  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced construction environment, including outdoor work and various weather conditions


  • Compensation based on the IBEW Local 68 Sound and Communications Agreement
  • Base wage: $32.00 - $45.00
