Food Distributor Sales Specialist
Remote Position in CA, NV, AZ Sales Territory
Offering a diverse range of 40+ premium, all-natural sweet and savory flavors, purees, concentrates, and blends, our company is dedicated to providing top-quality products to distributors serving the foodservice, hospitality, manufacturers, and consumers.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing and expanding the sales territory in CA, NV, and AZ.
Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential distributors in the territory, identifying opportunities to increase revenue.
Prospect and onboard new distributors by leveraging sales reporting, online research, event leads, and other available resources.
Capture all customer engagements through the Salesforce CRM system.
Collaborate with the Director of Sales to analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual sales data, as well as contribute to the budgeting process for the territory.
Oversee the management and development of regional manufacturer leads.
Supervise the West Sales Account Manager.
Approximately 50% travel required, with easy accessibility to airports.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS).
Minimum of 3 years of sales experience specifically in the foodservice distribution sector.
Proven track record in sales and account management.
Strong negotiation, organizational, time management, and project management skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work within approved budgets.
Proficiency in using CRM software (Salesforce.com or equivalent).
Proficiency in MS Suite.
Compensation and Benefits:
Base salary of $80,000 plus a 20% bi-annual bonus.
