Location: Sacramento, CA (Remote position)

We are a provider of over 40 premium and all-natural sweet and savory flavors, purees, concentrates, and blends. Our products are sold through distributors to foodservice, hospitality, manufacturers, and consumers.

Responsibilities:

Take charge of the CA, NV, and AZ territory.

Maintain and expand the network of distributors in the territory. Seek out opportunities to generate revenue with distributor accounts. Continually search for new business prospects in the territory by utilizing various resources such as online research, sales reporting, event leads, and more.

Use Salesforce to record all customer engagements effectively.

Work closely with the Director of Sales to review and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual sales in the region. Provide input on the annual budget for the territory. Develop an effective communication strategy to meet operational support requirements. Manage the development of manufacturer leads in the region.

Supervise the West Sales Account Manager in the position.

Approximately 50% travel required, with convenient access to airports.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in relevant field.

At least 3 years of sales experience in the foodservice distribution industry.

Strong skills in sales and account management.

Excellent negotiation abilities with exceptional organizational, time management, and project management skills.

Proven ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work within approved budgets.

Proficiency in using CRM software (Salesforce.com or similar).

Familiarity with MS Suite.

Compensation and Benefits:

Base Salary: $80K + 20% bi-annual bonus
