Food Distributor Sales Specialist

Work Remotely: Live anywhere in the Las Vegas, NV area or sales territory of CA, NV, AZ

We are a provider of over 40 premium, all-natural flavors, purees, concentrates, and blends. Our products are sold through distributors to various sectors including foodservice, hospitality, manufacturers, and consumers.

Job Responsibilities:

This role will be responsible for managing the CA, NV, and AZ territory.

The main responsibilities include managing existing distributors and developing new ones in the territory. You will also be required to identify revenue-generating opportunities with distributor accounts and seek new business by leveraging sales reporting, online research, event leads, and other resources. Utilizing Salesforce, you will capture all customer engagement.

Additionally, you will work closely with the Director of Sales to review and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual sales in the region. You will also provide input on the annual budget for the territory and review the communication strategy to cover operational support needs. Managing regional manufacturer leads and development will also be part of your responsibilities.

In this position, you will be supervising the West Sales Account Manager.

Approximately 50% of your time will be spent on travel, with convenient access to airports.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should have a BA/BS degree.

We require a minimum of 3 years of experience in sales to foodservice distributors.

Strong sales and account management skills are essential.

You should possess excellent negotiation skills along with strong organizational, time management, and project management abilities.

The ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work within approved budgets is crucial.

Experience working with CRM software such as Salesforce.com or a comparable system is preferred.

Proficiency in MS Suite is required.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a base salary of $80K plus a bi-annual bonus of 20%. Additionally, we provide 100% company-paid medical, dental, vision, and Life insurance, EAP program, 401K, profit sharing of approximately 12% annually, 11 paid Holidays, vacation, company laptop, docking station, cell phone, and company credit card. Mileage reimbursement is also provided.
