Job Summary

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting and overseeing investigations and evaluations pertaining to machinery and equipment. This will involve examining and assessing the damage to mechanical systems and components, performing root cause failure analysis, evaluating mechanical, corrosion, and metallurgical properties, and analyzing the cost of repair and replacement for damaged facilities and equipment. Additionally, you will collaborate with clients and other consultants, manage multiple unique projects, and prepare comprehensive written reports summarizing your findings.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Must be a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in one of the Southeastern states or obtain the license within six months
• Experience with Solar Power Systems is highly desirable
• At least three years of experience in Forensic Investigation and Reporting is advantageous
• Prior experience giving legal depositions and serving as an Expert Witness is a significant asset
• Advanced technical education degrees are a plus
• Proficiency in computer software applications such as MathCAD, AutoCAD, and MS Office
• Experience in industrial/manufacturing/design settings
