Qualifications:
• A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A Master's degree in a related field is preferable.
• 3-5 years of prior experience managing foundations or donor relationships. Experience in the healthcare sector is desirable.
• 5-7 years of experience working in a fundraising environment. Experience in the healthcare sector is preferable.
Work Hours and Compensation:
• This position is full-time.
• The salary range is $100,000-$125,000, depending on experience.
• We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including relocation assistance.
Responsibilities:
• As the Fundraising Director, your main role will involve leading the development, direction, and execution of all activities related to the Healthcare Foundation. This includes fundraising, managing donor relations, fostering relationships with the foundation board and committees, and engaging in community outreach efforts.
• Your contribution is pivotal in promoting the advancement of the programs and services offered by the Hospital District, as well as encouraging individuals to support exceptional healthcare in the region.
• You will also provide strategic leadership to the Foundation Board of Directors and Committees, driving financial and community support for the Foundation's mission.
• You will have direct and indirect oversight over the Foundation Specialist, Development Assistant (shared support between Foundation and Marketing), and Project Subcontractors.

• This position reports to the Chief Development & Communications Officer and works closely with the Chief Executive Officer.
• A brand new hospital is currently under construction and is scheduled to be completed within 2 years, presenting an opportunity for growth in a new facility.
