LOCATION: Miles City, Montana

Who we are looking for:
•A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communication or a related field is required.
•A minimum of three years of experience in fundraising and the nonprofit sector.
•Professional Foundation/Development credentialing is preferred.
Working hours and compensation:
•This is a full-time position.
•The salary range is between $61K and $89K, depending on experience, and includes full benefits, relocation assistance, and a sign-on bonus.
What you will be responsible for:
•As the Foundation Director, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing our medical center's Foundation activities. You will lead the efforts to raise philanthropic resources to further our mission and vision.
•You will act as a liaison between the Foundation Board and our medical center's Administration to ensure the successful implementation of fundraising efforts.
•Your responsibilities will also include recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training staff in the department. You will oversee the daily workflow of the department and provide constructive performance evaluations.
•You will develop and implement a comprehensive resource development plan, which includes annual fund, planned giving, major gifts, capital campaigns, special projects, corporate and foundation solicitations, and events related to resource development.
•Additionally, you will represent our facility in a fundraising capacity at special community functions and personally solicit major gifts.
•You will develop and administer fundraising policies and procedures, as well as conduct annual reviews. You will also monitor and achieve annual department goals.
•Another important aspect of your role will be the financial management of the department. This includes developing the annual budget, crafting an investment policy, and preparing monthly financial reports.
•You will foster positive and harmonious working relationships with hospital staff, the Foundation Board, the Hospital Board, medical staff, senior leadership, and the community.
•Furthermore, you will serve as a public advocate for our facility, effectively communicating significant public foundation developments to various stakeholders.
•Providing ongoing education and guidance to the Foundation Board and its committees will also be part of your responsibilities.
•You will be responsible for the overall strategy of all foundation internal and external events.
•Playing a key role in conceptualizing and messaging the Foundation's marketing collateral and content for all communication channels will be one of your important tasks.
•You will oversee the organization of all fundraising projects and donor recognition programs, ensuring a robust constituent relationship management process and the proper stewardship of gifts.
•You will continuously seek out grant funding opportunities and stay updated on best practices in fundraising and development.
