FSQA Supervisor

Location: Monterey, TN

A highly-regarded poultry processor is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Supervisor to oversee operations at a further processing plant in Monterey, TN. This position includes the following responsibilities:

· Overseeing the development and implementation of SSOP and HACCP plans to ensure compliance with USDA regulations and meet company and customer expectations regarding food safety.

· Monitoring and verifying production SSOP and HACCP records.

· Conducting daily monitoring of plant GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and other prerequisite programs.

· Proactively identifying and addressing problems before they escalate, utilizing SPC (Statistical Process Control) tools or other analysis techniques as necessary.

· Auditing all SSOP and HACCP records, providing timely feedback to management.

· Maintaining a positive relationship with the USDA and staying current with the regulations pertaining to SSOP and HACCP programs.

· Training and documenting the training of all plant associates at every level in relation to SSOP and HACCP programs.

· Conducting annual validations of scientific data to support food safety decisions within the facility.

This position requires hands-on involvement in addressing any food safety issues that arise during the shift and developing appropriate solutions and preventative measures.

**This is a First Shift position from 6 am - 3 pm.**

Requirements: A Bachelor's degree is required, with preferred majors in fields such as Food Science, Animal Science, Poultry Science, Operations Management, Biology, or Chemistry. The successful candidate will also have:

1-3 years of relevant experience.

HACCP certification.

Knowledge of USDA regulations, including GMP, SSOP, HACCP, and labeling.

Experience with food safety plant audits.
