Full-time Home Health PTA, Physical Therapist Assistant
The Full-time Home Care PTA position in Temple, TX presents a great opportunity for professionals looking to make a positive impact on the lives of patients in a home setting. As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will work closely with Physical Therapists to create personalized treatment plans for each patient. Your responsibilities will include implementing therapeutic exercises, assisting with functional activities, and providing compassionate and expert support for daily living tasks.
Primary Duties:
- Collaborate with a Physical Therapist to develop and execute individualized treatment plans.
- Administer both manual and non-manual physical therapy exercises.
- Inspire and educate patients to actively participate in their rehabilitation process.
- Document patient progress and make adjustments to treatments as needed, in compliance with legal and professional standards.
- Perform follow-up visits for orthopedic patients receiving home health care.
- Ensure all necessary eligibility requirements for home health services are met.
- Provide maintenance therapy as necessary.
- Maintain a valid driver's license and be willing to travel to patients' homes.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
- Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state.
- At least one year of experience in home health as a PTA.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate attitude.
- Clean driving record.
