Position Summary

We’re hiring an experienced General Electrician to support the maintenance and safe operation of our industrial facility. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong troubleshooting skills and experience maintaining motors, circuits, and plant-wide electrical systems in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and circuits

• Install, inspect, and maintain motors, motor controllers, and electrical panels

• Perform electrical testing, cleaning, and equipment adjustments

• Read and follow electrical diagrams, schematics, and instructions

• Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform emergency repairs to minimize downtime

• Install conduit, fittings, switches, and electrical hardware

• Work on energized (live) electrical lines when required, following all safety protocols

• Maintain accurate logs and records of repairs and inspections

• Keep work areas safe and clean in accordance with company standards

• Support crane repair functions as assigned

Tools & Equipment Used

• Hand and power tools, motor test instruments, multimeters

• Pipe threaders, conduit benders, and electrical safety equipment

Materials Handled

• Wires, insulation, conduit, switches, relays, solder, electrical tape, lubricants, coolants

Qualifications

✅ Must have prior industrial or plant maintenance experience
✅ Strong understanding of motors, motor controls, and industrial circuits
✅ Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints
✅ Knowledge of safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures
✅ Comfortable working on live systems with proper PPE and safety precautions
✅ Ability to keep accurate maintenance logs
✅ Physical ability to work in shop and field environments

Reporting Structure

Reports directly to the Shift Supervisor under the Mechanical Maintenance division.
