WHAT YOU'LL DO:
o Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with esteemed customers, architects, and suppliers, ensuring they consistently receive exceptional treatment and respect
o Interpret bid requests and understand project requirements
o Utilize Customer websites to locate and retrieve plans and specifications
o Assess Union needs, insurance requirements, bonding necessities, warranties, and safety protocols
o Prepare informative RFI's addressing scope and related issues
o Determine project funding, assess competition, and evaluate suitability
o Conduct on-site visits, strategize installation logistics, and attend pre-construction meetings
o Perform accurate material take-offs and collaborate with the superintendent to address installation complexities
o Obtain quotes from vendors and subcontractors, ensuring all project details are included such as extended warranties, and review quotes for precision
o Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers as well as customers
o Coordinate with CAD manager to obtain estimates for shop drawings
o Establish project schedules and determine timelines for our scope of work
o Prepare comprehensive bid proposals and present them to clients when required
o Follow up with phone calls or visits to maintain strong connections
