GLP Quality Assurance Director

Seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual for the position of Director of Quality Control in beautiful Naples, FL. This role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality control and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Position Overview:
In the role of Director of Quality Control, you will play a pivotal role in our journey towards GLP compliance. You will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control strategies and ensuring that all research activities, documentation, and data meet the highest standards of integrity and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement comprehensive quality control strategies and processes in line with GLP principles and industry regulations.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits of research activities, documentation, and data to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with GLP standards.
- Design and implement a robust data integrity program, including audit trails, electronic signatures, data validation, and security controls.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate research staff on GLP principles and the importance of compliance.
- Work with IT and software development teams to evaluate and implement electronic systems and software applications that meet industry regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory compliance and industry guidelines to continuously improve quality control practices.
- Assist with internal audits and corrective actions to improve compliance.
- Act as a point of contact for regulatory agencies and external auditors during compliance inspections.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant scientific field or equivalent practical experience.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish.
- 5-15 years of experience in quality control roles within scientific research.
- Familiarity with GLP principles, industry regulations, and a willingness to learn and implement new requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
