Job Description

Our investment firm/family office/foundation is seeking a dedicated Foundation Operations professional to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in managing the day-to-day operations of our grants, ensuring compliance with legal and financial regulations, and maintaining the integrity of our funding processes. As the Grants and Compliance Financial Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the entire grant lifecycle, from proposal development and submission to monitoring and compliance.
• Ensuring compliance with funding source guidelines by reviewing and understanding grant terms and conditions to guarantee compliance with funder requirements.
• Recording accurate, consistent, and timely accounting to facilitate audit readiness, tax support, and budget versus actual analysis.
• Ensuring spending is on track with grant budget projections and managing amendments.
• Collaborating with sub-grantees to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with both US private foundation regulations (including expenditure responsibility) and Indian FCRA laws.
• Coordinating and reviewing legal documents such as grant agreements, sub-award agreements, and service contracts.
• Ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS).
