Grants and Compliance Finance Manager

Opportunity for a person seeking a flexible work schedule of 20-30 hours per week.

Ideal candidate will have experience in grants accounting within an investment firm or foundation.

Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 + Bonus

At least 5 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, including general accounting, compliance, budgeting, and grants management.

Our investment firm/family office/foundation is seeking a dedicated professional to join our dynamic team and oversee the foundation operations. As the Grants and Compliance Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing our grants, ensuring compliance with legal and financial regulations, and maintaining the integrity of our funding processes. Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing the entire grant lifecycle, from proposal development to monitoring and compliance.

- Ensuring compliance with funding source guidelines by reviewing and understanding grant terms and conditions.

- Recording accurate and timely accounting to support audits, taxes, and budget analysis.

- Monitoring grant spending and managing budget amendments.

- Collaborating with sub-grantees for accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations.

- Reviewing and coordinating legal documents such as grant agreements and service contracts.

- Ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS).
