Group Benefits Account Representative

Exciting opportunity for a skilled Account Representative to join a leading employee benefits company based in Rochester Hills, MI. As an integral member of our team, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from 25-300 lives. Our clients have a variety of coverage options, including fully insured, partially self-funded, self-insured, and captive plans. You will work closely with a dedicated account team to ensure customer satisfaction, resolve issues, and retain clients. This position does not involve any supervisory responsibilities.

Primary Responsibilities :

* Collaborate with clients during the onboarding process

* Address client and carrier inquiries promptly and effectively

* Prepare and complete RFPs, request census data, and coordinate vendor renewal requests

* Develop and distribute informative materials for Open Enrollment, including guides, checklists, forms, summaries, and webinars

* Conduct meetings, health fairs, and webinars to educate clients during Open Enrollment

* Participate in pre-renewal, renewal, and post-renewal meetings

* Ensure compliance and regulatory adherence for clients

Experience & Software Requirements:

* Previous experience in group benefits

* Active Life and Health license or willingness to obtain it within 90 days of employment

* Proficiency in MS Office Suite

* Familiarity with Brokerage Builder/ZyWave software

Following the initial 90-day training period, this position offers a hybrid work model or 100% in-office work. No overnight travel required. Work from home three days a week with two days in the Rochester Hills office.
