Join our client’s Employee Benefits team in this exciting role driving expansion and growth!

As part of our client’s long-term growth strategy for Employee Benefits, this position is responsible for developing and overseeing a designated geographic area. The individual in this role will focus on establishing meaningful professional relationships with brokers and other influential entities to expand the reach of Employee Benefits products and services.

Your primary responsibility will be to drive and manage sales activities within the North Carolina territory.

Primary Responsibilities:

Building and maintaining Key Broker Relationships

Enhancing Brand Presence – ensuring a strong and visible presence in the assigned territory

Developing an effective pipeline

Securing new Employee Benefits Business

Generating and guiding prospects from initial contact to finalizing the deal

Achieving activity and revenue targets

Conducting sales and product seminars as needed.

Managing the assigned territory to meet selling objectives by achieving the target quote activity levels

Effectively utilizing Group Market Share, MiEdge, and Salesforce data to expand market presence and enhance sales production.

Developing a comprehensive plan to meet case activity targets aligned with the organization's core strategy.

Job Requirements

Established professional relationships with brokers and experience in LTD, STD, and Group Life.

Producing results within the assigned territory and achieving satisfactory sales outcomes and product submissions.

Exceptional skills in developing and maintaining relationships with internal (colleagues, peers, management) and external clients

Ability to foster strong interpersonal connections with a collaborative approach

Advanced ability to formulate strategies and business plans and successfully execute established objectives

Outstanding presentation and consultative selling skills

Willingness to travel up to 50% to meet with targeted prospects

Bachelor's Degree or a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent qualifications

Life and Health license

Minimum of two to four years of experience in Employment Benefits Sales
