About the Role
Join our dynamic team as a Group Benefits Sales Executive in Dallas, Texas, and play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of our client's employee benefits division.
If you thrive on the challenge of building and developing a territory from scratch, then this is the perfect opportunity for you! In line with our client's long-term financial growth strategy, this role requires you to develop and manage a specific geographic area, establish strong relationships with brokers and industry influencers, and effectively distribute employee benefits products and services.
As a Group Benefits Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales activity and managing the territory in Texas.
Primary Responsibilities:
Cultivate and nurture valuable broker relationships
Establish a prominent brand presence within the assigned territory
Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline
Secure and close employee benefit business deals
Identify new opportunities and guide prospects through the sales process
Achieve assigned revenue targets
Conduct sales presentations and product seminars as required
Manage territory effectively to meet sales objectives and activity levels
Utilize market share, MiEdge, and Salesforce data to expand market presence and increase sales
Develop a comprehensive strategy to achieve case activity targets in alignment with core objectives
Job Requirements
Proven track record of established broker relationships and experience with LTD, STD, and Group Life
Demonstrate success in producing sales results within an assigned territory
Exceptional interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships with internal and external clients
Collaborative approach with a focus on fostering strong partnerships
Advanced strategic planning and execution abilities
Outstanding presentation and consultative selling skills
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to meet with targeted prospects
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Life and Health license required
Minimum of two to four years of experience in Employee Benefits Sales
