Join our client’s Employee Benefits team and play a vital role in driving expansion and growth!

If you have a passion for cultivating territories and making a lasting impact, then this opportunity is perfect for you! As part of our client’s long-term financial growth strategy in Employee Benefits, this position entails developing and managing a specific geographic region. The successful candidate will be responsible for forging strong business relationships with brokers and other key influencers to enhance the distribution of Employee Benefits products and services.

Your primary focus will be on driving and overseeing sales activities within the Missouri territory.

Key Responsibilities:

Establishing and maintaining pivotal broker relationships

Building brand visibility and maintaining a strong presence in the assigned territory

Creating a meaningful sales pipeline

Closing Employee Benefit deals

Generating and guiding new opportunities from prospect to closure

Achieving set activity and revenue targets

Conducting sales and product seminars as necessary

Managing the assigned territory to meet selling objectives

Leveraging Group Market Share, MiEdge, and Salesforce data effectively to expand market presence and increase sales production

Developing a strategic plan to achieve case activity targets aligned with the core strategy

Requirements

Established broker relationships with expertise in LTD, STD, and Group Life

Proven success within the assigned territory, achieving satisfactory sales results and client product submissions

Exceptional skills in building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external clients

Ability to foster strong interpersonal relationships with a collaborative approach

Advanced ability to strategize, develop business plans, and deliver on established objectives

Outstanding presentation and consultative selling skills

Willingness to travel up to 50% to meet with targeted prospects

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Life and Health license required

Minimum of two to four years of experience in Employment Benefit Sales
