Job Title: Team Supervisor - 2nd shift (2:30pm-10:30pm)

Salary: $75-85K

Job Summary: As a Team Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing all production operations and shop activities. Working closely with the Plant and Production Managers, this role is vital in driving Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), such as SQDCI, TPS, OTD, and Continuous Improvement (CI) activities to support the company's mission.

Job Responsibilities:

Under the guidance of the Production Manager, manage and execute activities on the shop floor.

Collaborate with "Lead" employees and provide direct leadership to them in specific production areas.

Serve as a liaison between upper management and hourly employees.

Supervise all production and production support operations.

Develop and manage team members' performance and capabilities based on company KPIs.

Ensure activities, equipment, facilities, and personnel are aligned with plant production goals and objectives.

Assist the Plant Manager and Production Manager in monitoring overall plant performance for production and quality control standards.

Maintain existing plant facilities and equipment.

Provide leadership and training to achieve plant/company goals and objectives.

Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs.

Support safety awareness programs.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in a related field and 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Alternatively, completion of some related college work and 5-7 years of applicable work experience.

Experience in the manufacturing industry, with door and window experience being advantageous.

Knowledge of raw materials.

Experience with continuous improvement (CI) methodologies and activities.

Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, technical aptitude, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to drive manufacturing process improvement techniques throughout the production process.

Strong team skills, including the ability to coach and develop work teams.

Ability to motivate/empower others and resolve conflicts effectively.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong knowledge of production machines and tools.

Flexibility and ability to manage multiple priorities on a daily basis.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
